DUMPSTER RENTAL DO'S AND DONTS

Is this your first time using a dumpster to clean out your home or commercial property? Don’t worry– we’re here to help! Here are a few things you can do to make the dumpster rental process easier:

DO THIS:

Ensure you have a flat, level surface such as pavement or gravel to prevent it from tipping over and causing damage.
Make sure that there is adequate space surrounding the dumpster to allow for easy access.
Fill the dumpster evenly and don’t pile waste over the edges of it.
Place heavier items at the bottom of dumpster, followed by lighter materials, such as cardboard, on top.
Once the dumpster is full, contact us as soon as possible so we can pick it up.

DON'T DO THIS:

Don’t overload or overfill your dumpster. Doing so could be dangerous and cause accidents.
Don’t forget to disclose materials that warrant an extra charge (view list here)
Don’t place combustible materials, like wood, at the bottom of the dumpster as it could start a fire.
Don’t attempt to move the dumpster yourself!
Don’t leave trash outside of the dumpster as it can attract pests and create an unsightly mess.

At LOAD & GO DUMPSTERS, we don’t like to waste items. For this reason, we work hard to sort your junk and bring it to the transit center or recycle redemption center. This way, no items are wasted and everything is properly disposed of.

What happens if I need the dumpster for longer?

Just ask! We’d be happy to extend your dumpster rental past the initial time frame for a small additional fee.

How big are the dumpsters?

Can you come and load the dumpster?

We do not go into customers’ houses and dispose of the trash. We can, however, drop off the rental and leave it for any duration you’d like. Just contact us with the details and we’d be happy to help!

Are there any items that I can't put in the dumpster?

While there are no restrictions on items you can put in the dumpster, there are certain items that need to be disclosed. These include but are not limited to:

Paint cans with paint
Car tires
Fridges
Propane tanks
Freon unit (air conditioners, freezers, etc.)
Computer monitors
Televisions
Mattresses and box springs

If you’re unsure whether or not your items need to be disclosed, just give us a call! It’s better to be safe than sorry. Please note that certain items may be subject to additional fees.
